Sent DH out to finish the Christmas shopping today. *keeping fingers crossed* Five names left on the list of a bazillion (all but one of those I took care of myself, thankyouverymuch). He needed to shop for my presents without me looking over his shoulder. I can understand that. Encourage it, even.
Slight change of plans for the Christmas trip. DH and I aren't allowed to leave town until midnight and we have to sign out at the base before we leave (again, not until midnight) on Friday night. So, won't be hitting Manhappiness until seven or eight in the morning. Hopefully I will be my normal gloriously amusing and sociable (hahahahahahsnorthahaha) self after a short nap and then it's Christmas party time.
Have received word that Alex may not be there, so if he would like his present he has two options: Send me an address (since I have yet again forgotten where I put it) so I can have the little USPS/UPS elves deliver it... or he can let me know when he would like me to drive up and deliver it personally during the week I will be in KS.
Then it's off to my hometown on Sunday for Christmas with the Family part One. Monday DH and I are returning to OK to take care of the pets for a few days. Then we head back into KS on the 23rd. Christmas Eve will be Christmas with the Family part two and three. And then I will be shopping with Mom and Sis at some point, but other than that DH and I will be in KS for several days (hopefully in Manhappiness with friends, if they don't mind). We may even be in KS for the ringing in of the New Year. A tradition we would hate to break.

Have made myself a promise to write fiction as soon as all the Holiday junk is taken care of. I've got six more puffball things to hot glue, a snood to finish crocheting, and a room full of presents to wrap (Cause I really love giving presents, I mean I really, really enjoy it. Too much.), and a bazillion Christmas cards to write and send out. If the cards arrive before Easter, I'm doing better than last year.
Three hours of Survivor tonight. w00t.
