Posted twice tonight. One F-Lock, one public. I've finally discovered the different settings so there may be more F-Locked posts in the future. I'm willing to add people to my F-List if the need arises.

I'm also considering switching to a paid account. Anybody who has a paid account willing to let me know if it's worth it? My desire mostly stems from an uncontrollable need to have lots of icons.

Finally had a chance to sit down and watch DH's Basic Training Video (hence the "Drill Sgt., why won't you leave me alone?" which is one of my favorite chanty things that they do). Opened with the generic random class of graduating recruits and the montage of Ft. Sill landmarks, then it was straight to DH's graduating class. I found him twice. Once, coming out of the Gas Chamber (lots of phlem, eww). And once, firing one of those guns with the long belt of bullets that feeds in as you fire (yes, I know it has a name, and no, I don't care enough to look it up).

It made me laugh at points, and cry at others. The obstacle courses were funny, but watching everyone pour out of the Gas Chamber made me cry.

Of course, everything makes me cry lately. Stupid hormones.

If the weather stays cool enough I'll be wenching at the K.C. Ren Fest on Monday (although, if it's going to be hot I probably won't go since I'm still not handling the heat well). I need to pull my garb out of the closet and make sure the Bodice of Slow and Painful Asphyxiation still fits. It should, especially since I've inexplicable lost five pounds within the last week and a half.

Nerves, probably.

Second job interview will be Thursday. Hope I can keep calm enough to make it that far.

I find the paid account to be worth it -- it's not an excessive amount of money, and the extended options, including but not limited to the iconage, make up for it.

And sorry to hear of your recent traumas. The pigs make their empathetic "awwww" sound for you. And w00t for RenFesting!
