Pottermore and Profile Pages

Since Captain is still gone not that I'm bitter, I've been spending my early morning pre-dawn hours playing with HTML and Photoshop and Google and various other things in an effort to pretty up my various LJ accounts.

The last few days were focused on the profile page of this account and I've just now finished tweaking it. Behold the splendor of This Thingy!

Yeah... Seriously... Poptarts make you do wacky things.

Anywho, moving on.

Last night I managed to fight my way past nearly constant "please go away, too many people on our servers, bugger off" error messages on Pottermore to get my wand - Hawthorn, Dragon Heartstring, 12 1/2 inches, slightly springy - and get sorted.

Can you guess which house? Come on, guess.

I seriously jumped out of my chair and fist pumped the air and did a little dance and wanted to tell someone, anyone, but then I remembered that it was three AM and normal people were asleep.

So, one profile done (for now), one mostly doneish and one that I haven't even started yet and then I should probably finish knitting Beck's glove thing and maybe start working on Christmas cards or actually try to finish one of the half dozen WIPs I've got bouncing around here.

Wow. That thingy really does have splendor! I am impressed.

Also, congrats on the wand/house. We never found out yet what Severus's wand was, did we? Maybe you'll find out on Pottermore!!

I'm almost done going through the chapters and there is a sad lack of Snape information. I imagine we won't get anything good on him until at least book six or seven and those are probably years away.
