Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] rewil, I recently bought a roughly 14"x14" box with three drawer to store my nail polish in.

Peer pressure is horrible stuff, maynard. (I don't know what just came over me, I apologize.)

Anywho, it turns out that I do not actually have that much nail polish yet - and while I know [livejournal.com profile] rewil eventually plans to fill her entire box with polish... I suspect one drawer will probably be enough for me (at least for the foreseeable future).

So, instead I moved all my make-up to the top drawer and bought little baskets to help organize them and then felt the need to create two color coded spreadsheets (one sorted by alpha, the other by color family) to keep track of all the things that now live in the box.

What? I've got spreadsheets for all my the DVDs, Wii/DS games and Facebook friends, too. I like to be organized.

Again, moving on.

So now that I've got organized all that stuff, I've discovered make-up and polish I didn't even remember I had, and now I want to play with it.

Anyone interested in seeing how some carefully slapped on mineral makeup can cover up hideous red blotches, etc? Cause I'm thinking of taking pictures of each step in the Oh So Complicated and Drawn Out Make-Up Application Process of putting on some Bare Escentuals.

You wear the BE too, don't you? What do you like/use the most? I've discovered I have all these eyeshadows, but I tend to only use the same three over and over and over again.

I have a bunch of BE, but I haven't worn makeup in ages. I'm trying to start wearing contacts again, though, so I'll need makeup. I'll definitely let you know once I start playing around with all this again! I bought a lot of neutral eyeshadow and remember liking the shades I bought.

Now I have an excuse to experiment!
