Today is the first day this week that I did not have to go across town to the hospital for something. This makes me extremely happy.
Yesterday, I went for my post ER follow up appointment, in order to get the test results from the sample I'd driven across town on Tuesday. Except... the test wasn't done.
So, you might be asking yourself, because I sure has hell was asking my self, why the hell did the ER doctor insist on making me an appointment for Wednesday morning if the test takes more than 72 hours to complete? Apparently no one knows.
Anywho, I went to the hospital for my useless appointment, was told yet again that my leg looked much better and that the scarring would probably eventually fade away and then I was sent on my way with the reassurance that if something turned up wrong in my tests, someone would probably call me. Not the doctor I saw yesterday, of course, because he's not my real doctor and he's busy, but probably my New Doctor, perhaps.
I'm not holding my breath.
I did, however, leave the hospital with another tasty scone so the trip was not a complete wash.
And, today, I didn't have to see the hospital at all. Cross your fingers that this continues until my next appointment at the end of the month.
