Having a craving

Have been watching a lot of Stargate SG1 lately - six seasons in the last month, just about to start season seven "the return of Doctor McHottie with the glasses and the buffness and wow" - and now I've got a huge craving for some good SG1 fan fic.

I'm looking for some Daniel-centric fic, well written, preferably romance because I'm on a hormone kick and that's what I want damnit, NOT shipped with Sam (because Sam and Jack are a couple in my head, shush, leave me alone) and while I would prefer HET I wouldn't be totally and completely opposed to a well written Jack/Daniel since I've read one or two of those by someone on my flist who made the relationship sweet and romantic and believable and not all about the sexing (although there was sexing, don't get me wrong), and while I'm mentioning it and being picky I want something written for an adult - that doesn't mean all sex all the time, I mean an adult relationship with all the angst and "does he like me?" and yes, some hot hot hey baby action wouldn't be frowned upon but it would be nice if there was more to it than that.

I've spent the last two days looking for something like this and I suspect I'm just looking in the wrong place. I've found a few pieces that I liked but they were far too short (in the sort of way that getting to eat one bite of a double chocolate cookie and then having the rest taken leaving you wanting more is too short sense rather than "OMG only 800 words? Are you kidding me?" way), but I'm not really into Vala as a character, can't stand Daniel/Sam (so wrong, so so wrong) and I don't want to read about Daniel and Sha're or Daniel and Sarah. In other words, I'm being picky.

Any suggestions?
