This Post is For Those Who Missed The E-Mail Re: Christmas Party

Hello, Everybuddy

I've gotten lots of e-mails and phone calls and second hand reports of which options seemed to work best for people.

We seem to have a majority vote (odd, but it happens once in awhile). There are one or two people who could not make this date, and that sucks, but an overwhelming number of people preferred it.

So, the offical time and date of the 10th Annual After-Christmas Christmas Party (scheduled before Christmas this year due to the war and various other things) will be:

Saturday December 18th at 1:00 pm. Jane't and Matt's house (I'm assuming, haven't actually verified that yet, so it might be in a parking lot near the Quik-E-Mart).

I'm thinking light lunch/snackies. Maybe some luncheon meat and samiches? Pot luck? Any suggestions?

DH and I will be coming in Friday night (think about one or two a.m., I'm sad to say) and Jason will be driving in (last I heard) on Friday night as well, no known ETA for him yet.

I will be posting this on the LJ in case some people don't get to their e-mail.

ONE LAST THING!

DH and I have been working (by that I mostly mean me) on a long letter with our address and phone numbers and how we like OK so far and all sorts of rambling things that we are planning to put in our Christmas cards this year. Yes, I bought Christmas cards. We thought this might be a bit more personal than sending out a mass e-mail.

So, friends and family interested in getting an update of our life, please e-mail me a snail mail address to mail the card to, since our address book is still M.I.A.

Hope to see as many of you as possible on the 18th.
