I'm sick

Annoying throat tickle from this weekend turned into an annoying chest-rumbling cough yesterday. Sometime during the day at work (when I should have been home resting, but stoopid Ass.boss hung up on me when I called in to talk about it so I got so pissed off I actually went to work in the hopes that I would make her sick) it spread from my chest to my nose.

By last night I was coughing so hard I was vomiting and I couldn't breath.

This morning I could barely make noise, my nose was clogged and my throat was burning.

Gotta love summer colds. I go through this at least twice a summer, when the weather starts to make sudden changes.

I didn't even bother calling in this morning, I let DH do it. Not like I could talk on the phone anyway, my voice is just a scratchy parody of itself.

On the kitten front:

Roswell has settled into her new home. She likes to cuddle, which is sweet, but then she gets bored and chews on things. I think she's getting her new teeth in. And those tiny little razor claws are really starting to hurt. She's intimidated Loki into staying off the bed when she's on it. He doesn't even like to stay in a room with her, if he can help it. She's not mean to him, I think he's just confused.

He's hiding in the office with me at the moment.
