Stoopid Car

DH took the car to the carvet today. $1035 dollars worth of repairs are needed, not counting the broken tail light and the completely malfunctioning driver side door. Cylinder head gasket, valve cover gasket and rear cam seal are all leaking oil. serpentine belt and the power steering belts are very cracked. The air filter is dirty. Something horrible has happened to the transmission, something about parts missing. Some sway bar thing is cracked and falling out. And... the front brakes are 90% worn.

We sent the car in because the guy at Auto Zone said the power steering circuit needed replaced.

I am not a happy camper tonight.

I'm going to have to get a loan just to fix the hunk of junk. Maybe DH and I should go ahead and start considering getting that new car now instead of in the future.

Bah.

Sorry to hear about your car troubles! :-( Going through that with the Grand Am before finally giving up, I can totally relate to the frustration of very expensive repairs...

Happy crapper? That's so wrong. It would be a really sucky superhero too.
