I just got off the phone with the woman who runs Damsel in this Dress (best when viewed with IE, as when I try to see the site in Mozilla it sort of has a spaz on me), and tomorrow she begins work on my custom-made bodice.

Keep your fingers crossed that the measurements that my friend came up with when she came over last week work and the bodice fits

We visited her booth at the Muskogee Ren Fest back in May, and I fell in love with her designs but didn't have a chance to try anything on.

The new bodice should be here before the KC Ren Fest.

I wonder if this is the "girl" that the haberdascher lady was telling me about. I guess that someone at the Castle of Muskogee was selling full garb for around $120. I didn't go inside because I had just layed down way too much cash for my Elizabethan hat in her shop. Now I am wishing I would have stopped. I wonder if she will have a booth in KC?
